Easter Sunday
So, did anyone else dare endure the weather this morning?
Harry and I set out at 7:30 on our road bikes. When we left the house it was cold and windy, but it was nice and dry. That of course only lasted until the rond-point de l’obelisque where it started drizzling. We were pretty worried that if it kept drizzling we would end up getting soaked, but thankfully the drizzle turned into strong steady rain so we didn’t have to worry any more!!
We did 50kms in the most deplorable conditions and yet we ended the miserable ride by smiling and saying “that was a great ride, I am sure glad I got out of bed so early”. There is definitely something wrong with that.
1) Biking
2) F1 (under a blanket on the couch)
3) Lunch
4) Tour de Flandres (under a blanked on the couch)
5) Dinner.
I don’t think that Easter could get much better!!
Here is another one of my favorite biking videos.
Different people, different bikes, different rides.
How does biking make you feel? How do you like to ride?
Please turn on the sound before playing the video.
Happy Easter,
Fred
p.s. How about that Cancellara???? (did he switch to a Campagnolo chain this year??)
